AN AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR ALCOHOL SENSING AND ALERT WITH ENGINE LOCKING

Safety on the road is a very big topic that to discuss each passing day in our country. That safety is for everyone who uses the road and the road itself. Safety on the road protocols to go with the changing environment. Hence, saving lives of different road users.

The main reason for road safety adherence is to prevent accidents. Not to lose man-power and property damages. Due to such facts. There is a need to design a circuit with a sensor that detects presence of alcohol on driver’s breath.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Many death of people in our society by accidents because some drivers drives while taking alcohol. This project intend to reduce the number accidents caused by drunk drivers by proposing a system which would be constantly monitoring the driver’s breath by placing on the driver steering wheel. Somewhere the driver’s breath can be constantly detected. So if driver drunk and tries to drive the, system detected the presence of alcohol in his/her breathe and lock the engine automatically so that the vehicle fail to start.

The main objective of this project is to reduce accidents caused by drunk drivers. By proposing the automatic system for alcohol sensing and alert with engine locking.

DATA COLLECTION

Data collection is a part that describes the evaluation of the project before carrying out designing. It describes some situation from which the conclusion. The following are relevant information obtained from the site
